This piece was commissioned for Shorty Rossi of the Pit Boss Reality show on Animal Planet. If you have not watched the show, Shorty runs a charity and rescue for pit bull dogs.

Shorty and Hercules are the stars of the reality show. I hope I did them justice with this piece.

Shorty is made from cotton woven fabric, and hand painted face. Shorty has a full body armature and articulated hands. His costume consists of shirt, pants, and his signature fedora hat, suspenders and cigar.

Shorty's pit bull dog Hercules is basically a flat pancake style piece with some quilting for definition, and Paperclay snout. Hercules is painted with acrylics.

I have to admit I really had a lot of fun with this piece!
