is a study in grace and elegance as she sits atop her own mushroom, a tiny butterfly resting in her palm. Butterflies also rest on each shoulder. She is my Hoffman 2003 challenge doll and is touring with the Hoffman 2003 exhibit. 

Her vest is a vintage cutwork lace which I have hand painted and beaded. 

Butterflies have wire armatures and gold machine embroidery accents. 

Madame Butterfly is 24" with wire armatures and hand painted features.
