is  my Treasures of the Gypsy
Challenge Doll, 2002. The theme was
Gypsy of the Night Sky.

She has a love affair with the Man in the Moon and is whispering endearments
for his ears alone.

GYPSY is 13" tall and has intricately sculpted features. She is dressed in the beautiful silks and gypsy treasures and trinkets from Pamela Armas.

Her features were created with
Prisma colored pencils, fine micron
pens were used for detail.

GYPSY LUNA CLASS DESCRIPTION
Gypsy Luna is a highly detailed and articulated 13? doll perched on the gentle curve of a silvery moon. You will learn how to make the doll, including face painting and needle sculpting techniques, creating dimensional eyes, invisible and sewn on joints and delicate articulated hands with wire armature. You will also learn how to make the detailed costume including her tiny shoes, the moon and the base.
Below is an outline of what we will cover in the Gypsy Luna class. The class includes CD with 6 lessons, materials list, photo and pattern.

LESSON 1- THE HEAD
Sewing the profile face head, stuffing the head drawing the features, painting the face, needle sculpting the face, which includes making dimensional eyes, and applied eyelashes.

LESSON 2- THE BODY
This lesson will cover sewing and stuffing the 6-piece body for the doll.

LESSON 3- THE LIMBS
In lesson 3 we will cover creating the limbs for Gypsy Luna. Included are very detailed instructions for making the tiny articulated hands with wire armature, tips on turning and stuffing those tiny fingers, sewing the arms and legs 

LESSON 4- JOINTING THE DOLL
You will join the limbs to the doll in this lesson, and will learn invisible jointing techniques as well as sewn on limbs and turning head technique.

LESSON 5- THE COSTUME
Lesson 5 will cover making the very detailed costume for the doll, including bloomers, skirt with ruffle, lined vest, and tiny no-sew shoes. Embellishing the costume and attaching the wig will also be covered in Lesson 5.

LESSON 6- THE MOON
In this lesson Gypsy?s Luna (moon) which will include sewing, stuffing and creating a supportive armature for the moon. Also covered will be creating the face with detailed drawing and painting guide, and making the base to support the moon and doll.
