This is Buella, an original design 
created for the
 Hot Summer Challenge  
sponsored by
 Big Horn Quilts. 

Emphasis was on visual impact
 and fabric manipulation 
using several techniques. 

Buella has wired armatures,
 hand painted features and is 
accessorized by
leather beaded sandals. 

Beading was incorporated 
throughout the costume design. 

Buella won second place
