This is Comfort, and she is loosely based on a pattern from another designer submitted to the Doll Crafter magazine. 

The head is my design, created by stretching a knot fabric over a cloth head onto which has been sewn cotton balls on the cheeks, nose and chin for definition. 

She is painted all over with acrylics and her hair is natural wool. Comfort has stitched-on limbs and stitched fingers on mitt hands. 
10" sitting, she holds her little "prim" doll.
